Asbestos gland packing APRPP
APRPP (with wire, rubberized, impregnated with an antifriction compound, graphitized) is an elastic cord of square or rectangular cross-section, woven of asbestos thread with brass wire 0.17-0.2 mm in diameter (GOST 1066-80), rubberized, impregnated with antifriction compound, graphite.
Application:
APRPP is used in stuffing box seals fittings and pumps operating in: water, steam, oil products, oil gases, alkalis, organic products, pastes, coal sludge, scraps, air. Maximum permissible parameters of environments: pressure 90 MPa, temperature 200°C, sliding speed up to 2 m/s for centrifugal pumps.
