Friction products

Friction products are used for two main types of mechanisms:
Products working in braking mechanisms. They are designed to slow down the movement, as well as hold and completely stop the mechanism. These include brake pads and linings, brake bands and liners made by molding in molds, either with or without an electric heater, but with subsequent heat treatment. They do not give wear to the brake drum, are very reliable in operation, have high mechanical strength, and retain their operational properties even in cold climates at -60 C.

Products operating in frictional mechanisms – clutches that are designed to transfer movement due to friction from one part of the machine to another. These are clutch linings, plate types, sectors. Friction linings are divided into molded, made by molding in press-molds with heating, and ellipse-wound, impregnated with a special composition of the thread with a wire by winding.

Characteristics of friction materials:
High heat resistance (preservation of the coefficient of friction);
Low adhesion capacity;
High thermal conductivity;
Excellent resistance to thermal shock caused by friction;
Corrosion resistance;
Cost-effectiveness.

Friction materials supplied by "Volzhsky Khimkompleks" ensure safe operating conditions for vehicles.
