novaflon® 500

50.jpg          51.jpg

Materials of the novaflon® series have high chemical resistance (pH 0-14), with a temperature range of use from -210 to +260 °C, high wear resistance, no lubricant needed when used as sealing, the ability to work with dry friction. The unique manufacturing process of novaflon® 500 achieves excellent creep and cold flow resistance properties. The gasket material compensates for low bolt forces as well as for uneven flanges and is resistant to overpressure (in the range from vacuum to 200 bars). These characteristics of novaflon® 500 are ideal for the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries. They especially meet the requirements for glass flanges and chemical equipment. The graph shows the area of application of the material in sulfuric acid.
