Brake tape EM-K (GOST 15960)

Unpolished, red brake tape with brass shavings (analogue of EM-1 tape).

It is used in brake and friction units of machines and mechanisms with dry friction of the material.

Brake tape EM-K:

• thickness from 5 to 10 mm and

• up to 8 running meters in length.

Brake band EM-K works at:

• permissible working pressure 1.5 - 2.5 MPa;

• maximum surface friction temperature +200С.

Brake tape EM-K is characterized by increased elasticity and used in braking devices with different radius of curvature of the friction surface.
