Paronite PK
Paronite PC (acid resistant)
Acid-resistant paronite (PK) is produced in the form of sheets in accordance with the requirements of GOST 481-80. The main field of application of paronite sheet is the manufacture of sealing gaskets for flat detachable joints of various components and assemblies. The gaskets can be cut from a solid paronite sheet, or they can be composite. In the manufacture of composite gaskets, individual parts are fastened together with glue ("overlap" or "dovetail"). Acid-resistant paronite can also be used as a soft filler in spiral-wound gasket materials.
Paronite is acid-resistant and gaskets can be used in any climatic conditions (in temperate, cold and tropical climates). Paronite PK in areas with a tropical climate can be used without the addition of fungicides. The minimum working temperature of paronite is minus 60°C.
