Asbestos fabrics GOST (State Standard) 6102-94
Asbestos fabric (asbestos cloth, AT) is a cloth made of interwoven asbestos threads containing from 5 to 18% of a binder fiber (viscose, cotton, lavsan).
The company "Volzhsky Khimkompleks" sells asbestos fabrics GOST 6102-94 from warehouses and on order. Asbestos fabric is used as a heat insulator, used for the manufacture of diaphragms for electrolysis of water, and as a raw material for the manufacture of asbestos laminates, asbestos plastics, rubberized gaskets, grommets and cuffs. Asbestos fabrics are produced in full compliance with the requirements of GOST 6102-94 and technical specifications for each specific range of asbestos fabrics, as well as according to the technological regulations approved in the prescribed manner.
Asbestos fabrics AT and AT 3 contain 81.5% asbestos and are used as heat insulators in industrial technology.
AT 4 and AT 5 asbestos fabrics are incredibly resistant to high temperatures, which allows them to be used in more extreme conditions.
Asbestos fabric AT 6 has a mass fraction of asbestos of 95% and is most often used in water electrolysis. Operating temperature range is up to +100C.
Asbestos fabric AT 7 has 90% asbestos content and is used as a cushioning material and an insulator. Temperature range of AT 7 is from +130 to +450C.
Asbestos fabric AT 9 has at least 90% asbestos content and is used as a cushioning material and an insulator. Temperature range of AT 9 is from + 130 to + 450 C.
Asbestos fabric AT 16 has at least 95% asbestos content and is used as a diaphragm in water electrolysis, except for special-purpose electrolyzers. Temperature range of AT 16 is from +100C up.
Asbestos fabric AT 19 has at least 81.5% asbestos content and is used for the manufacture of compensating gaskets in the production of chipboards. Temperature range of AT 19 is from +130 to +220C.
AST 1 asbestos fabric has at least 78.5% asbestos content and is used as a heat-insulating material. Temperature range of AST 1 is from +130 to +500C.
AST 2 asbestos fabric has at least 79.6% asbestos content and is used for sewing heat-protective clothing. Temperature range of AST 2 is from +130 to +500C.
