Technical plate HFAAR
Technical plate HFAAR (heat-frost-acid-alkali-resistant)
HFAAR technical plates are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7338-90 “Rubber and rubber-fabric plates. Technical conditions”. The above State Standard applies to vulcanized rubber and rubber-fabric plates intended for the manufacture of industrial rubber products that serve to seal fixed joints, prevent friction between metal surfaces, for the perception of single shock loads, as well as gaskets, flooring and other non-sealing products in various climatic versions.
Technical plates HFAAR (heat-freeze-acid-alkali-resistant) are conventionally subdivided into two classes.
Technical plate HFAAR 1st class - thickness from 1.0 to 20.0 mm, intended for the manufacture of rubber goods for sealing units designed to operate at pressures up to 0.1 MPa.
Technical plate HFAAR 2nd class - thickness from 1.0 to 60.0 mm, intended for the manufacture of rubber goods for sealing units designed to operate at pressures up to 0.1 MPa, as well as to prevent friction between metal surfaces, for the perception of single shock loads, as linings and flooring.
By types of technical plates HFAAR are divided into molded and non-molded ones. Molded technical plates HFAAR are made by vulcanization in molds on specialized vulcanizing presses. Non-molded technical plates HFAAR are made by vulcanization in boilers, or on continuous vulcanizers. According to GOST 7338-90, there are two types of HFAAR technical plates: rubber and rubber-fabric plates. Rubber-fabric plates HFAAR have one or more fabric layers. In this case, the number of layers is determined by agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer. There should be no more than one tissue layer for every 2 mm of the HFAAR technical plate. Based on the degree of hardness, there are soft HFAAR technical plates, medium and HFAAR plates of increased hardness.
The working environment of the HFAAR technical plate is the air of premises, containers, vessels, nitrogen, inert gases, at an operating pressure of 0.05 to 0.4 MPa, or fresh water, sea water, industrial water, waste water without organic solvents and lubricants, salt solutions with a concentration up to the saturation limit, acid and alkali with a concentration of not more than 20% at an operating pressure of 0.05 to 10.0 MPa.
The symbol of the HFAAR technical plate contains the name of the product, an indication of the class, kind and type of technical plate, the brand, the degree of hardness, the number of fabric gaskets (for the technical plate of type II), an indication of the thickness of the plate and the designation of the State Standard GOST 7338-90. An example of the symbolic designation of a molded HFAAR technical plate of the first class, type 1, degree of hardness C, thickness 3 mm: Plate 1F-I-TMCS-S-3 GOST 7338-90.
An example of a symbolic designation of a molded HFAAR technical plate, type 1, medium hardness, 4 mm thick, group 1, in a tropical version, operable in the temperature range from -30 to +80°С: Plate 2F-I - HFAAR-С-4 / Т- I-2-80 GOST 7338-90
Criteria for visual quality control of HFAAR technical plates
The surface of the HFAAR technical plates should not contain cracks and mechanical damage. On the surface and cut of the HFAAR technical plates, elevations, recesses, inclusions, porosity exceeding the values regulated by GOST 7338-90 are not allowed.
On the surface of HFAAR technical plates, the following are allowed: traces of powdering material, imprints of the relief and fibers of the fabric, variegation, dullness, touch of fading ingredients and products of their mutual action, irregularities from particles of regenerate on the plate, protruding edges along the surface of the mold connector (for HFAAR molded technical plates). Besides, cuts along the edges of the plates that do not exceed the maximum deviations from the nominal value of the width of the technical plate are also possible.
Acceptance
Acceptance of HFAAR technical plates is carried out in batches. A batch is understood as plates of the same class, kind and type, brand, thickness, degree of hardness with a total mass of not more than 3000 kg, accompanied by a document regarding its quality.
The quality certificate accompanying each batch of HFAAR technical plates contains:
- trademark or name of the manufacturer and trademark;
- symbolic designation of the technical plate;
- date of manufacture;
- batch number;
- lot weight;
- number of places in the party;
- stamp of the technical control section.
Marking
Each technical plate has a marking showing:
- trademark or name of the manufacturer and trademark sign;
- product designation;
- stamp of the technical control section, indicating the compliance of product quality with the requirements of GOST 7338-90;
- the date of manufacture of the HFAAR technical plate with the indication of the year and quarter.
The marking of technical plates is made in a relief method, either with indelible paint on the product itself, or on an accompanying label made of rubberized fabric, plywood, paper or other materials that guarantee the complete safety of the marking and its readability. When accepting technical plates, the material of the label is set by agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer.
Packing
HFAAR technical plates are folded in piles or rolled up. A roll can contain one or several plates rolled together. Each roll is pulled tight by dressing materials that ensure the safety of products during transportation and storage. According to the requirements of GOST 7338-90, the weight of one package should not exceed 50 kg. However, an increase in weight is permissible as agreed between the consumer and the manufacturer. Each packing place of technical plates is accompanied by marking.
Transporting
HFAAR technical plates can be moved by all types of transport in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force for each type of transport. In the case of transportation of technical plates in temperature conditions below -30°C, impact on the products or their deformation is not allowed. If the technical plates were transported at low temperatures, then they may be unpacked only after holding them for 24 hours at an ambient temperature of 20°С ± 5°С.
