Friction linings
Friction linings for clutch discs are used in dry friction units of various types of vehicles, tractors, winches and other mechanisms. Manufactured using molding technology.
Friction linings are used in clutch couplings of cars to transmit torque. In addition, the pads provide a smooth start to the movement of the vehicle.
There are two types of friction linings: elliptically wound and molded.
Ellipse-wound clutch disc linings (structure: non-woven thread impregnated with a special compound with copper or brass wire).
Molded rings. Asbestos mass is poured into a mold and then vulcanized.
Molded linings are made from polymer compositions by molding in hot molds. Ellipse-wound linings are made from a thread impregnated with special compounds with a wire by the method of winding and subsequent vulcanization in molds with heating.
